Exam Pattern

The UGC NET Punjabi exam pattern consists of two papers:                                                                                        Paper I (General Aptitude) and Paper II (Punjabi).                                                                                                                Paper I has 50 questions, and Paper II has 100 questions, both in multiple-choice (MCQ) format. Each question is worth 2 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.                                                                                           The total marks for Paper I are 100, and for Paper II, they are 200. The exam duration is 3 hours, with no break between papers. 
Paper I: This paper assesses general teaching and research aptitude. It covers topics like teaching aptitude, research aptitude, reading comprehension, communication, reasoning, and logical reasoning. 
Paper II: This paper focuses on Punjabi language, literature, and culture. It delves into various aspects of Punjabi language, including its history, literature (classical to modern), grammar, and linguistics.
